the griffith Park full of art is a 2 day show held annually, the third weekend in july, in Griffith, Indiana’s Central Park.
we accept artists who work in the following art mediums:
Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor, Pottery (hand formed clay), Sculpture, Photography, Hand Crafted Jewelry, Mixed Media, Graphics, Glass, Woodworking & Crafts*
Time: Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (NO RAIN DATE)
Location: Central Park - 600 North Broad Street in Griffith, Indiana 46319
Media: The show is limited to Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor, Pottery (hand formed clay), Sculpture, Photography, Hand Crafted Jewelry, Mixed Media, Graphics, Glass, Woodworking & Crafts.* NO JOBBERS, BUY/SELL OR WHOLESALE ITEMS ACCEPTED.
Rules: Each artist will be responsible for the stability and safety of their display. Neither the Griffith Art Fair Committee nor the Griffith Park Board will be liable or responsible for any loss, damage, defacement or destruction of any property displayed by an exhibitor, no matter how same may be caused. Security will be provided from 4:00 p.m. Friday night to 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Please include original artwork as well as prints of your originals in your display. Remember to notify the committee of extenuating circumstances which force you to be a “no-show.” If we are not notified, your name will be removed from our file and you will not receive an application for 2025. Set up on either day will NOT be permitted after 9:45 a.m. Vehicles will NOT be allowed in the park until 5:15 p.m. on Saturday and 4:15 p.m. on Sunday.
Jury: Work will be juried through the submittal of artwork to a panel of judges: Digital files (PDF or JPG) or good quality prints representative of each medium. The committee reserves the right to exclude material that does meet its requirements or standards. You MUST display the work you submit. The application fee will be returned upon rejection less a $5.00 handling fee.
Fee: $125.00 - Non-refundable (additional full spaces are available for $125.00). Please note extra space needed on application.

Include a self addressed envelope stamped with adequate postage for returning your discs or prints. No discs will be returned without your envelope.
Judge: A qualified judge will preside.
Awards: There will be a judging beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday for cash awards in the following categories: 2D and 3D. There are also awards for Best of Show and Best New Artist. Categories will not be judged separately. All prizes awarded are final. Violations of any of the rules stated above will disqualify you from eligibility of prizes.

If you would like to join the Griffith Park Full of Art, please apply by clicking below. “Quantity” indicates how many spaces you would like to reserve. If you decide you’d like more than one space, the quantity can be adjusted before you make your payment.
*Crafts is kept at 20% of our participating artists in order to keep the integrity of a fine arts show. Craft vendors must apply with high-end handcrafted work. Under no circumstances do we allow buy/sell or wholesale items to be sold at our show.
